I've worked across brand, advertising, packaging, film, digital, print, and events — partnering with global corporations and grassroots nonprofits alike. The work varies. The standards don't.

I’m beyond in love with the brand design and strategy that Brad created for us. Every single time I put something new into the world under this brand, I feel an extra boost of pride.

The way in

Black and white photo of a smiling man with glasses, beard, and tattoos, wearing a black t-shirt, standing against a textured wall.

1 Gather

I approach each project as a beginner, by listening closely, observing carefully, and learning without assumptions.

2 Wander

I get curious, follow tangents, explore odd connections, and go through a lot of paper, pencils, and coffee.

3 Breathe

Before shaping anything final, I step back. I leave the studio, let ideas settle, and make space for what wants to surface.

4 Make

I take all the messy, interesting bits and start working them: combining, cutting, reshaping… until the answer feels inevitable.

What guides me

Your work deserves more than pretty design. It deserves creative that understands what you're trying to do and helps you do it better for the people you serve. I work with brands and organizations that are trying to leave things better than they found them — and I take that seriously. I am also a member of Climate Designers, and this site is carbon neutral thanks to Terrapass.

On this land

I live and work in Pasadena on the ancestral homeland of the Hahamog'na, a Gabrielino-Tongva tribe, who have been stewards of this land since time immemorial. I am grateful for their continued presence and the opportunity to create here. I recognize the painful history of displacement and erasure, and commit to honoring them — past, present, and future.
